Souren is an early pioneer in the US Mortgage Banking global outsourcing business. Souren has 20+ years of experience in senior technology and operations roles at US Mortgage Banks and Outsourcing companies. He has a track record of building outsourcing and technology ventures in the banking and financial services space.
As CEO of Nexval, Souren oversees and drives Strategy, New Business Development, Client Relationship Management and the Technology functions globally.
Prior to joining the company in 2013, Souren was the CEO and Co-founder of Inuva in 2002 which was later acquired by ISGN. At ISGN, as EVP – Transition Management, Souren successfully led the Transition Management Office for a globally distributed team responsible for transitioning and was also responsible for Project Management of large scale mortgage banking outsourcing projects from a needs analysis to production.
Souren also served as the Chief Technology Officer for MSRCentral (a Bayview Financial company) a Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) Trading portal targeted towards broker dealers and secondary mortgage bankers. Before that he was the Vice President of Information Technology for BayView Portfolio Services in Santa Ana, California, where he was responsible for Information Technology planning and management of portfolio service functions such as Mortgage Assignment Preparation, Underwriting, ARM audit and Document recovery services.
He holds an MBA from the University of Miami, Florida and is also a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) from Mortgage Bankers’ Association, an National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) certified MLO and a Florida Certified Real Estate Salesperson. Souren is based out of Nexval offices in Florida.
